Dr. Shannon Slack joined Campbell Park Animal Hospital in June of 2011. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine May of 2011. Prior to that, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Oklahoma State University.
Dr. Slack is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, the Dallas County Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Feline Practitioners. She also manages Campbell Park’s Feline Friendly Certification.
Dr. Slack is originally from Ontario, Canada but moved to Plano in 1996. Growing up, she always had a menagerie of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, horses and orphaned wild bunnies and birds. She attended Plano West Senior High School where she met her husband, Ryan. Together they have two sons, Spencer and Logan.
In her free time, she enjoys taking the kids on adventures around Dallas, reading and spending time at Lake Cypress Springs.
